JOB TITLE: Technical / Systems Specialist - JavaScript / Windows

Job Description :

Technical Specialist: This role sits between the clients systems engineers and your colleagues within the product and development teams. Technical Specialist role is varied and will involve custom development tasks, product implementation, support, software development and training. Technical Specialist will be ensuring that the product is delivered and deployed in line with project requirements. Any experience of having worked in the healthcare market will be beneficial.

Technical Specialist Key Responsibilities:

- provide support on the data dictionary

- advice and assist the Project Managers during implementation

- develop custom/site specific software such as JavaScript, user defined functions, interfaces, reports and data migration scripts

- provide technical support for custom development

- liaise with client or business analyst on any requests for new or modified reports

Technical Specialist Qualifications and Experience:

- experience with data analysis and database methodologies

- knowledge of Crystal Reports

- be able to design and write technical documents

- knowledge of web orientated languages, incl. SQL, HTML, JavaScript, VB script

- experience of Windows or Unix environments (OS Scripting, SAN, Windows clusters )

- SQL Server or Oracle skills

- strong presentation and communication skills
