JOB TITLE: Usability Designer / Information Architect

Job Description :

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for usability design and review in both new and existing projects, as well as be involved in research where required.

Specific duties will therefore vary - however, the following will be typical within most projects:

- Work with customers and Business Analysts to develop scenarios or low-fidelity prototypes

- Lead Graphic Designers, Business Analysts, and Developers in development of screen layouts and user interfaces

- Support or lead Business Analysts in identifying high level customer requirements

- Support Developer on usability/information architecture related issues Practical Experience

- 5+ years of professional experience in usability

- 2+ years of experience in web/software related usability

- Candidates with experience in Scrum or other agile project methodologies will be preferred.

Purpose of position:

As my client expands its scope and scale of operations, an experienced Usability Designer will join the Usability and Design team to ensure systems are developed and enhanced with full regard to current best-practice usability considerations.

Academic qualifications:

- BA in interactive design, communication, human factor or related discipline is required

Professional abilities

- Strong experience in user centred design principals

- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks

- Strong ability in story boarding, mock-ups and prototyping

- Strong experience in information architecture

- Good understanding of working within the constraints of a web application

Salary Package:

- Up to $7,350 USD package per month comprised of:

- Up to $5,450 USD per month basic salary - TAX FREE

- Housing Allowance $1,100 USD per month

- Car / Transportation Allowance $800 USD per month

- Economy Class Airline Ticket

- Private Healthcare Insurance
