Build and maintain up to date dynamic models, incorporating all static and dynamic data. Monitor production with the objective of identifying value adding opportunities and providing reliable production forecasts.

Perform subsurface business decision and risk analysis: uncertainty analysis, geostatistics and value of information assessmen.Sequence stratigraphic and structural (fracture) analysis.

Well design and planning. Operations geology and logging techniques. Familiarity with building and maintaining static models using appropriate G&G software.

Establish, implement and actively participate in the process to assess and report company reservoir and well performance, identification of performance deviations, production improvement options and additional surveillance needs.Identify production and injection well candidates for remedial wellwork (workovers, stimulation recompilations) that add value through improved production and reservoir performance.

Job Description :

My client is an operator based in Dubai. The client is looking for a Geologist work in the Business Development Department.

The Geologist will be required to have experience in:

Conducting petroleum system analysis including fairway mapping and prospect generation

Perform subsurface business decision and risk analysis

Sequence stratigraphic and structural (fracture) analysis

Interpreting and integrate seismic data with geological reservoir information to provide characterisation for input into subsurface models

Quantify reservoir risk and uncertainty and integrate with volumetric calculations

Define reservoir characterisation parameters and integrate production data

Deliver depth-converted subsurface input data for the static reservoir models
