JOB TITLE: Regional Financial Controller - Hospitality – Dubai

Job Description : •

Responsible for development of accounting policies and procedures.

• Financial analysis and extrapolation of information in order to enhance the decision making process.

• Preparation of Hotel Pre-Opening budget & working capital Requirement

• To manage the duties and responsibilities of the Finance and Accounts departments to ensure all job functions performed effectively and in accordance with the Hotel Brand standards and owning company policies and procedures.

• Responsible for all aspects of financial controls of the Hotels and reporting compliance to the Owning Company.

• Responsible for Hotel Fund Management and Controls.

• Responsible to establish Internal Controls at all hotels and assist the Auditors for the timely completion of periodic audits.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Financial Controller with any Branded 4/5 star Hotel Properties

• Prior Experience with multi-unit accounting is an advantage

• In-depth knowledge and work experience with Uniform System of Accounting for Hotels, IAS and IFRS is preferred

• Chartered Accountant / CPA, or Equivalent Qualification with prior hotel prior experience will be preferred.

• Ability to work in a self-directed manner; with minimum supervision

• Strong knowledge of Opera Express ( PMS ), Sun Accounting System, Oasys Payroll System and Micros Inventory Management System and advanced competency in MS Excel ( with Vision Excel ) is essential
