JOB TITLE: SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGNER ENGINEER 15th June,2009

Job Description :

* Direct Client communication

* Preparation of technical and financial proposals for new work

* Prepare and take responsibility for concept engineering solutions for detail design

* Prepare technical specifications

* Monitor financial performance of jobs

* Plan and monitor job resourcing and expenditure

* Technical control of all electrical works and coordination with other discipline specialists

* Assist in resolving design issues providing technical advice as required

* Oversee and review Contractors technical submissions, drawings and materials

* Liaise effectively between the electrical QA/QC personnel and the Project Manager * Manage the QA/QC team of electrical inspectors to ensure conformance with the contract

* Always ensure that best practices, policies and strategies are adhered to

Requirements

*Chartered or Incorporated Engineer but at the least 8 years of relevant professional working experience

* Degree qualified

* Clear evidence of working towards Chartership if not already Chartered

* Good IT skills

* Exceptional design abilities

* Good communication skills and experience of dealing with contractors and other project related parties

* A proven track record of taking the lead in challenging situations

* Good sound electrical building services experience and a history of having worked on multi million pound projects in particular hi rise projects

*Capable of working within a close knit team and acting as job leader

Salary/Package: Our ideal candidate will be paid a salary dependant totally on individual experience but this will be above market rates and the benefits package will include private medical care, living and transport allowances or company vehicle, death in service benefit, bonus, annual flights home, relocation costs and temporary accommodation upon arrival.
