JOB TITLE:CHIEF ACCOUNTANT NEEDED

RECRUITING COMPANY : MORGAN HUNT

Job Description :

* Assisting in establishment and enforcement of policies and procedures for the Finance Department.

* Assisting in budget preparation, implementation and administration.

* Serving as liaison for the annual audit.

* Maintaining financial records of all insurance

* Preparing monthly and special finance and accounting statements and reports.

* Preparing social security and tax and other taxes and tariffs

* Maintaining general records of accounts according to established accounting classifications, including various ledgers, registers and journals.

* Supervising the work of accounting and clerical employees engaged in accounting functions.

* Responsible for generating and/or maintaining accounting and financial records of all funds, including reconciling bank statements and invoices, financial reports, bond payments, drafting checks, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.

* Posting entries to books and computer from supporting records, making adjustments and preparing financial statements.

* Researching information and prepares written reports as directed.

The successful candidate should be a university or college graduate in Finance or Accounting with an internationally recognised accounting qualification (circa 2-3 years post qualification experience). Preference will be given to those who have experience from a "big 4? accountancy firm at a senior level.

Other Requirements

* At least 5 years experience in a similar position

* Knowledge of integrated accounting systems

* Experience of accounting in multinational company

* Proficiency in accounting regulations and tax law

* Fluency in English

My client is a leading interior design and fit out company, based in Dubai. They are urgently looking to hire a Chief Accountant. This person would be responsible for the staff in the accounts department and would report to the CFO.
